JUNIOR GOLFERS IMPRESS AT WGC-HSBC CHAMPIONS.

China’s aspiring young junior golfers, were left with a lasting legacy recently by the 2016 WGC-HSBC Champions.

They got the opportunity to play alongside top golfers all over the world, and showcase the strengths and abilities of China’s new generation of golfers.

Many of the WGC-HSBC Top Golf stars were impressed with the abilities of the young players as they took out time to watch them play, teach them, and help them work on their abilities.

Yang Jinx, the HSBC National Junior Championship Grand Final winner played the 17th hole of the pro-am with Danny Willett, U.S Masters champion, Hideki Matsuyama, WGC-HSBC Champions winner and Ryan Moore, US Ryder Cup star.

Yang chipped from the rough within three feet, having missed the green and tapped in for par. Willett, who was impresses with his skill, returned a 5-feet birdie.

Jinx had said after the games,

"I am fortunate to play golf with the world-class stars. When I teed up, I felt a bit nervous because I realised the person standing beside me isn't an average golfer, he is Danny Willett!

“I was dreaming of when I could compete with them in such a big tournament. Thanks to this programme! Hopefully I can be a pro golfer to compete with them at the tournament in the future."

MatinKaymer and Rafael Cabrera, both European Ryder Cup stars were on hand to give invaluable advice and guidance to Song Weilun, HSBC junior golfer.
