Tiger Woods tees off with Obama

Barrack Obama, the president of the United States of America experienced how professional golf is played at the highest level when he teed off with former world number one and one of the greatest golfers in the world Tiger Woods.

The current second ranked golfer is trying to rebuilding his image after a messy divorce in 2010 tarnished much of reputation. Obama, on the other hand, is an avid golfer who loves playing on the weekends and along with Woods, who recently won his 75th professional title played together for the first time at the Floridian Yacht and Golf Club.

The duo was protected by a cordon of security and according a golf media outlet, the president told the American legend that it was really good to see him play well again. Obama, who began his second term as the president of the United States of America just last month, was on a three day getaway to the Floridian golfing destination while his wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia were on ski trip to Colorado. He even received tips on swing from the former swing coach of Tiger Woods Butch Harmon.

GolfDigest.com suggested that Harmon had noticed a brief interaction between Woods and Obama before they teed off and Obama also congratulated the American golfer for winning the Farmers Insurance Open last month. Harmon stated that the president told Woods that his last tournament was extremely fun to watch and added that it was extremely good to see him winning and playing well again.

Tiger Woods saw his image severely damaged after it emerged that he had been involved in a string of extra marital affairs that saw his marriage break down and also caused his game to suffer as he surrendered his ranking as the world number one.
